Why is my application being reviewed?
All applications are reviewed to confirm your eligibility to collaborate with Amazon Music for Influencers.
How long will it take for my application to be approved?
Applications take 24-48 hours to be reviewed.
What are the determining factors for being approved?
- Applicant should be the producer or host of an active Podcast, YouTube Channel, TikTok, Twitter, Twitch or Instagram profile.
- Audience should be at least 5000 authentic followers/listeners/viewers across platforms or have been established recently and audience is actively growing (at discretion of program managers).
- Most recent post should be within a month of application
- At least 5 episodes/posts should be available for listening/viewing
- Time lapse between posts dates should be no longer than 1 month
- If influencer has a Podcast, it should be available on Amazon Music
- If a Podcast is influencer's primary platform, it should have an average customer rating of 4+ stars and at least 5 written reviews on Apple Podcasts show page
- If on YouTube, videos should have an average minimum of 1,000 views per video
- An influencer's engagement rates and relative metrics on all primary channels should be equal to or higher than widely accepted benchmarks.
- If Site(s) collect user information such as email addresses (via contact forms, eNewsletter signup, etc.) there should be a privacy policy clearly posted and the link should be live (and on the home page)
- Site(s) and podcast(s) may not be of political nature, promote sexually explicit material, violence, discrimination, illegal activities, or any violation of intellectual property rights.
- Posts of any type, on any platform, must include a disclosure of ad status and the influencer's relationship with Amazon Music, following FTC Guidelines or equivalent regional laws and regulations.
Why was my account not approved?
If you are not eligible to join Amazon Music for Influencers, you will be notified by email. If you believe you were wrongly denied, or want to learn more, submit a support ticket.
